Another (not so modest) proposal.
« on: Aug 28 '14 03:44pm »
Due to restraints on his time, Fool has stepped down as the division leader of DF.

This leaves us with no divisions other than CTF, which from what I've gathered is very slow going.

I fear we may have bitten off more than is able to be masticated by starting with 3 divisions before we've even stood ourselves up and revived DF.

What I propose is that we drop all of the divisions for now, and remain a DF clan until we have a strong enough roster to branch out and build teams and whatnot.

Let me know what you guys think.

:/ I'm making work in sumo, almost persuaded long time sumo fort veteran radi to apply before he was offered a spot in one of the top fort teams. Keep sumo pls.

Hmm, I don't know. I think it's better when to keep the divisions, even if they aren't really active, because I know a few dfers who have moved to sumo, and would wouldn't want to app for rx just for df, because they are now sumo players too. Like Eve for instance, he is a fellow aussie who was df only, but has branched off to sumo and is now quite good, and he has asked if rx has a sumo division. Same goes for ctf, might as well keep it, everyone loves ctf :)

Does having them there but not active or not enough players cost us anything? Like, does it have a negative impact? Or is it just sitting there? That's my opinion anyway, but feel free to decide what you guys think is best for the clan.

That's enough for me.  We'll keep 'em and see how things go.
