people are too sensitive with their ips. Your IP is almost public knowledge anyways. The most someone can do with that info is find your approx location

Well, the most they can do is kick you offline or slow you down. Most people have dynamic IP's anyway, so once the router reboots, chances are you get a new IP. Have a problem with it and don't get new IP's? Call your ISP and they'll give you a new one.

Yeah, IP's are public. That's the point of them. People just seem to think it's something precious, when in fact, it's something you give away when you do ANYTHING online that involves connecting outside of your local network.

Now, in a situation here, yeah, maybe not be so happy to post it on public forums. The problem is that if you're not going to force your IP to change, you'll get Swag picking on you with a basic DDoS attack. Use your brain, and that wouldn't really do shit anyway.
