Syn playing the devils advocate (as per usual)
« on: Apr 29 '15 03:50pm »
So today i'm going to talk to you guys about your backbones in tron, or rather, your lack of.

We all know my story, I got tossed around like nobodies business when I first started, trying to please everyone, making sure that what I was doing was not right in my eyes but right in everyone elses eyes.
Fuck that.
It's about time you all started reacting in ways you feel to shit, instead of ways you feel you should be reacting.
Let's take an extreme example in illu's and bam's resignations(NOTE THESE ARE NOT MY OPINIONS BUT THIS EXAMPLE MERELY STATES IF THESE WERE YOUR OPINIONS THEY WOULD NOT BE DISRESPECTED). They resigned at a low point in Rx's career, at a point where it's pretty clear that their presence is fairly vital to the running of these grinding rusting ass gears we call rx. Fuck em. They wanna drop out when the going gets tough? Let em. They clearly didn't care enough about our shithole enough to see it through until the end.

People make mistakes, whether it's some maths in an applicants evaluation thread or telling a fellow clan member to commit suicide, people say and do stupid shit on a daily basis. So fucking what, if they can't get over shit let them mellow.

Next up, "Rx isn't going in the direction i want it to go right now":
What if this shit was real life, and your life wasn't going in the way you wanted it to go, you essentially have 3 options:
1. Do nothing
2. Commit suicide
3. Fucking do something about it
All of you losers planning on quitting are essentially picking option 2. Personally I pick option 3.

By now y'all have got to here by not reading and thinking "Fuck syn that bitch ass cracka asshole" or you've read it and thinking the same thing, either way, all I want you to take away from this is

Fucking stand up for yourselves instead of quitting, make life your bitch

I find this really funny because I was doing option 3 and then Devils advocate says, "this isn't how Rx is." I have been here through the rough, I tried to actually lead the clan. I tried to get stuff done, but guess what? Nothing for weeks. I didn't do step 2, I did step 4. "Do what's best for you." I don't care if this pisses people, especially you. It's about me, the most important person. If you wanted me to stay, you could have prevented it in several ways.

i dont want you to stay, if you're the type of person that quits after their first mistake then we're not gonna get very far are we? Look how many mistakes i've made in Rx, look how many people i've pissed off, shit means nothing months down the line

You think my mistakes have to do with quitting? Not really, actually not at all.

I'm just sick of people with leadership not being active or taking a leadership role. On top of that, I don't like how people who have zero leadership want to critique someone trying to help make the clan active and is one of the only few who are active. Syn, you're what rx doesn't need. You're a cocky hot head that is not as good as he thinks. Not many like you because of it. They look at you as arrogant, which you are. You remind me a lot of bay. Lots and lots of big talk. I don't want to be in Rx anyways. Not as long as you're in it :) good luck with En and I hope you're ready for another lose after we war you! Gl hf

lol, I don't get this at all.  Kira and Duke are pretty busy people.  They have lives...and bills.  Bam, if you define leadership as constantly bitching and then putting people who voted no on an app as inactive, then you're a better leader than you know.  Now that I think of it..have you even done anything for this clan, except make a voting thread?  Syn you're not the best df'er on the grids..spdy is.
Bam is a major noob

What is even going on lol? I quit because I'm not a leader and because my attitude changed towards Rx, things needed to be done and I didn't know what to do. Bam was trying and I was willing to back him up. The reason I didn't want him to leave is because I was planning on leaving, and I mean where does that leave Rx at? With luigi being probably one of the only active players, maybe kira, taz and hope as well. Me being here doesn't actually help Rx grow at all. I'm just active, I can't even play in wars.  I don't want to be in Rx when it dies, and by the looks of it, it's going to die sooner rather than later, from the inside.

I like this syn. I agree with you. People who quit aren't from the core family we tried to establish. A lot of us got older and have life's , but it doesn't mean we don't love rx and want it to achieve better things. I am sorry for those who quit. Those who don't feel at home.

Honestly none of this is surprising. Active players don't want to be a part of a dead clan that doesn't do anything or rep on grids. We have basically turned into the new dbd/es, our members are only heard about in whispers on dark nights. Bam was the most active and tried to do things to make us more active like recruiting more members and there wasn't enough of a response that he felt like staying here trying to hold the torch for a clan that just doesn't have the fire anymore. We all want to be a family, but when there are only like 3 active players you can't be surprised when they leave for something else.

I don't blame anyone for leaving because the bottom line is this whole game comes down to having fun. If bam/illu weren't having fun in Rx why should they try and tough it out in the hopes it might get better? Yeah it sucks for us because we like them, but shit happens. Vibe and I had drama and we both quit and then I came back. Syn, you quit and then you came back. Other people quit and never came back. Some people just slowly faded away. That's tron. That's life. Everyone's gotta do what they've gotta do and you can't hold on to anything forever because it all goes away in the end. As long as there are people who care about Rx and want it to still be around, it will be around. When there aren't anymore, it wont. A lot of us have been here too long to want to go anywhere else. I don't even know what I'm posting anymore, rambling on like a crazy motherfucker...

Wait, WHAT? You quit rx not that long ago..............
